My New Life Goal

Thanks to an e-mail from Christina, I have a new goal in life - to be able to drink a beer through my nose.

Just like this guy, who owns the Sardine Can bar in Green Bay:

Also, it appears that after being owned by Google for just over a year, doodles have finally infected YouTube. Happy Halloween!

PS - one of the reasons I've been posting less frequently here is because of the new (more time sensitive blog) at kristiandbrad.com

Blog Action Day!

I almost forgot that I promised I would blog today. Since I'm headed to bed, a quick thought about the environment...

We waste SO much paper every day, and there are countless ways the Internet can reduce or eliminate the need for paper. I used to spend a lot of time trying new stuff on the web and blogging about my experiences, and I'm sorry that I haven't made the time to do that lately.

I'm passionate about reducing the amount of paper my readers waste, so I pledge to focus more time in the future writing about ways you can reduce your environmental impact by more effectively using the plethora of tools available online.

One of my b-day gifts from Kristi was a ceramic replica of the iconic "We are happy to serve you" paper coffee cup. The bottom of the box mentioned treehugger.com, which is my newest RSS subscription. Stay tuned!

  • I think we should eliminate all magazines and put all the info online instead. That way, we'd save millions of trees each year.

    Wait a minute...if we did that I would be unemployed. Nevermind.

Blogging = Action

I've always felt that blogs were in general a good thing, so I decided to participate in Blog Action Day next week:

Bloggers Unite - Blog Action Day

Only five days to figure out what environmental issue I'm going to write about!
