I've been meaning to demonstrate how you can embed Google Maps in any website, and decided to locate the Buzet wine appellation in southwest France where the wine we opened last night was born:
Last year, my cousin Terese had the brilliant idea of having everyone in the family burn a CD of their favorite music to share on Christmas. I compiled 14 tracks that summed up 2006 in music, as far as I was concerned. Mostly stuff I had seen live, and a few artists that were new to me.
Not included in the iMix:
Lebanese Blonde (Thievery Corporation)
Machine (The Cavaliers, DCI)
Beat Box (Matisyahu)
Defying Gravity (Wicked Soundtrack)
I should have posted this a year ago, but better late than never, right?
According to my Trends in Google Reader, I am addicted to Rex Sorgatz's Fimoculous - which is probably why I've become such a big fan of t-shirts this year (he wrote about them in Wired).
I made my first purchase from Threadless in September, and finally got around to uploading a picture of myself to the gallery (for a $1.50 credit on my next shirt!)
Needless to say, I'm pretty excited about some of the t-shirts I will be gifting this Christmas :)
Update: didn't take me long to find a shirt and redeem that $1.50 credit!
NWA.com recently revamped their online reservation system, and even recorded a Flash demo complete with soothing female narration. It looks nice and all, but what really caught my eye is the frequent flyer account they used for the demo:
I wonder what Chris Pnrtest's Worldperks Number is?!? He probably wouldn't notice if I borrowed a few miles...
