Black & Tan

I wasn't sure what to title today's post - until I opened my mail. I signed up for it ages ago, and my very own Guinness bar towel arrived today - get your own at guinnessoffer.com. It's a shame that I don't have a bar, but maybe we can get that on the list of "home improvements to do." While on the topic of alcohol, the 1/2 bottle of wine I drank yesterday while watching the Pistons pwnz0r the Lakers made me a bit sluggish today. Since I was raised to not be wasteful, I'm going to have to subject myself to some more abuse tonight...

Another "I'm subscribed to a shitload of magazines" gem is the descending wine course at GQ.com. I must really love beverages in general, since I partook in some Amy's Blend at Boo Bou today. I've also been drinking quite a bit of H20 lately, thanks in no small part to my somewhat new Eddie Bauer Lexan bottle. I'll never forget the saying from Philmont - that you should always pee "clear and copious." Was that really 6 years ago? Or was it 7? Did I ever tell you about the green poop caused by eating all natural food, and how we ate greasy Pizza Hut right after coming off the trail? It wasn't a pretty sight.

Billy Bob Thornton's body double apparently works at the "local" Caribou, and he stumped me with today's trivia question:
Q: What "icon" appears in every episode of Seinfeld?
A: Superman (apparently Jerry is a fan, remember the AMEX commercials?)

Damn - no 10¢ discount for me today...

Now Playing: The White Stripes - Elephant
