Holy Oneness
Tony and I played some galf at Olympic Hills yesterday - my score was nothing to get excited about, but the hole in one on #3 was pretty unbelieveable. According to the card, it was a 7-iron from 180 yards - but since I've never hit a 7-iron that far I'll admit that it was more 157ish - thanks for the yardage T Loc.
When I called Susan to inform her of my 2nd ever eagle, her response was classic:
How did you do it? You're not even that good!
For those of you keeping track, this is my 2nd ace. Hard to believe, considering how many great golfers I've played with that haven't yet knocked down thair first one. Ben Clymer is a pretty good golfer, and also happens to be a very recent Stanley Cup winner with the Tampa Bay Lightning. He and Tony's friend Nate finished off the front 9 with us, and as I lined up my tee shot on Par 3 #8 Ben said he'd tackle me if I got another hole in one.
It didn't happen.
