26,000 On the way home from work today, my car turned over the big two six thousand. I started to wonder how much all those wonderful miles have cost me, and decided to share with the class... 508 days (51 miles/day) $4807 in car payments 23 MPG (roughly) 1130 gallons of gas $2260 in gas (roughly $2/gallon) Throw in a few hundo for miscellaneous oil changes, smog checks, and Mr. Clean AutoDry carwash kits - that's like $7500! 15 bucks a day! Holy poop!
