I've alluded to it before, but there is a plethora of reading material floating around this place. I bal33t it was Laura who first enticed me to check out Half.com, and the rest is history. I've unloaded $1,114.08 worth of moichandice on said e-commerce site since 9/1/02, and bought enough goodies to earn me an impressive list of subscripSHONs...

Of course, there's a catch - if you forget to call and cancel on time you get charged something like forty times the cover price. If you do remember, they usually act surprised and offer to extend the trial for 12 months for a measly $1 processing fee. Of course then you have to remember to cancel again in a year, but isn't that why Microsoft invented Outlook?

I can't stop listening to Medeski, Martin & Wood's "Chubb Sub" lately, and feel compelled to share it with y'all. I wondered what a Chubb Sub looks like, and this is the best that Google Image Search came up with - click the little guy for an mp3!
