Seven And Five

Apparently wearing my Packers hat while snowboarding yesterday wasn't good luck, but da Bears beat da Vikes again today so I guess it's OK. We got up early yesterday and drove to Pinecrest for a day of fun in the snow at Dodge Ridge "the closest snow to home" with the good folks from Susan's office. Good times were had by most, even though I banged my knee pretty good - on the flattest part of the whole mountain oh by the way.

The whole group had dinner at the Strawberry Inn, which was picked not for it's culinary merits so much as being the only dining establishment within 25 miles. They ran out of steak halfway through ordering, but miraculously had steak for the "roast beef" fajitas. My "burger of distinction" seemed distinctly overdone, but I could have just been distrcted by the vacumming in the next room?

We spent the evening playing some Texas hold 'em, but apparently the fact that the chips had my initials on them did not mean that I was destined to win. Now I have to go back to work and earn my money like my momma taught me to...
