Damn Laptop Battery...
...let's try again.
Last night's entertainment was a "Casino Night" put on by the folks at Enterprise as a United Way fundraiser. Similar to AKPsi events hosted at now defunct Minnesota Brewing Co, the goal is to win table games to earn raffle tickets for a big prize drawing. I was annoyed by dealers that didn't know blackjack rules and constantly cheated (in our favor) - "A Scout is Trustworthy" must have sunk in at some point. Susan insisted that I should "Enjoy Life," and it turned out that we didn't win nearly as many tickets as others did. I ended up with a 75" wasp kite (complete with creepy spinning eyes), but the grand prize went to a woman at our table who probably didn't even know what TiVo is.
Watched Napoleon Dynamite and Tad Hamilton, gave Pekoe a bath, and helped Tony pick a new digital camera - I love lazy Saturdays at home...
