Weekend Update
Rebooting my laptop, time to start assembling some highlights from the weekend...
- Uncle Paul & Auntie Pam were in town, we hit up El Dorado Wine Country tasting at Coulson, Madroña, Lava Cap (pronounced "cop"), Boeger, Sierra Vista and Holly's Hill
- Dinner at Il Fornaio in Sacramento, where Paul and I continued the bender with a bottle of 2002 Saintsbury Carneros Pinot Noir. My ribeye was good, but not amazing.
- Eagles 27, Vikings 17
- Paul let me beat him at golf, 106 to 101.
- Susan rolled my car over 30,000 miles - and didn't take a picture!
- Dinner in Old Sac, where Paul and I were overcharged for a surprisingly delicious 2002 Ravenswood Lodi Old Vine Zinfandel that paried nicely with my Kung Pao Shrimp in a bold yet flavorful sauce

If this is a weekend recap I can only imagine how much wine tasting will go on when I come visit for the month of August!
(Just kidding, Susan.)
See you this summer.
