2005 SF Chronicle Wine CompetiSHON
I was trying to cram these comments into my linkblog, but decided a full blown post was necessary...
A Sac Bee columnist was one of many judges at the 2005 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, and wrote an entertaining and insightful account of his experience. If you are asked to log in, try username bugmenot01 and password bugmenot - courtesy of bugmenot.com.
To top it all off, the 2003 Earthquake Petite Syrah from Lodi's own Michael David Vineyards took home top honors as the best red wine (out of 3200+ total entries!).
Think I'm not a wine club member?
