RePekoe
First of all, the family that "tested" our puppy on Wednesday has decided not to take him after all. With no prospects for unloading him, we're going to give Susan's allergies another whirl...
Second of all, I've been hearing variations on the word "pontiff" lately. NPR has been all over the Pontiff's recent hospitalization, which has made me more conscious of people using the word "pontificate". I must admit as a Catholic that the following sequence troubles me...
pontiff = pontificate = dogmatic = "authoritative, arrogant assertion of unproved or unprovable principles"
Note to self: cotton shorts + cotton boxers + elliptical machine = muy uncomfortable.

First of all--you are catholic? Second, I think your definition of domatic meaning the same thing as pontiff and/or pontificate is somewhat in inaccurate. Domatic means a doctrine or a corpus of doctrines relating to matters such as morality and faith, set forth in an authoritative manner by a church. While pontiff is simply the pope. Just my 2 cents
