Well Hello There Another multi-day lull between posts, this damn puppy is really chewing up my evenings! Bahahaha, get it? Chewing up? Nevermind. Susan and I celebrated VD prematurely, opting for a Sunday morning champagne brunch at Mallard's. I was scouring the web for information about the Wycliff "champagne" they served us - and found myself on Gasthof's website! That made me miss Minny, but I'll get my fix this weekend during Enjoy Life 2K5. I whipped up some (non Betty Crocker) chicken & dumplings for the actual holiday, and even snuck a copy of The Notebook into our DVD player. Scandalous! Haven't seen it all yet, so hold your breath for a review. Chick flick perhaps? We didn't have any problems finishing a bottle of Domaine Ste. Michelle Cuvee Brut however, which was very green apple-y. I'm thrilled that the Twins signed Santana, hopeful that the Vikings are on their way to Arizona, and disappointed that the NY Islanders won't have a shot at the Stanley Cup in 2005...
