Please Send Gifts

Today is the 1 year anniversary/birthday of The Myth, a date I have been eyeing on the calendar ever since I started blogging last spring - hard to believe how much this has become part of my life over the past three hundred some posts. I had hoped to celebrate the occasion with a new blog design or something, but now I'm just trying to squeeze in a post before Grey's Anatomy starts in 4 minutes.

I finished taping in the garage this morning, just in time to get ready and head down to the Asparagus Festival. We spent a shameful amount of time waiting in line for deep fried asparagus, and also partook in beer(s) from a tin cup, a rigged hole-in-one competition, and frozen cheesecake on a stick. We're starting to develop a regular clique of friends out here...gosh it only took 9 1/2 months.

  • The Stockton Asparagus Festival made ESPN's top 10 on Sunday. I was waiting for the anniversary of the blog to be #1---but no such luck.
