WARNING: Geek Content Ahead

I've received some "feedback" that my posts sometimes lean a bit geeky, but - hey - that's who I am baby. Instead of changing that, I figured at least a warning would help. When (not if) I move my blog to Movable Type, categories will take care of that, yo.

First of all, its annoying that the Tablet Input Panel doesn't work with Firefox, even though an extension supposedly addresses the issue in earlier verSHONs. As a result, I'm forced to dock the input panel at the top (handwriting recognition sucks) or bottom (nowhere for my hand to rest) of the screen. Either way, I can only write one line at a time.

To illustrate how annoying that
is for me, I will give you a taste...

Since I mentioned categories
earlier, you should probably know
that Dmitry is now tagging
his linkblog contributions with
dk. That way I can't be held
responsible for any of his
"debatable" links.

Finally, I need to upgrade to a camera phone - there are far too many times that I want to snap a picture and don't have my somewhat bulky A60 by my side. Like the rainbow outside of Dress Barn tonight.

  • Were any of my links so far really debatable or are you trying to CYA for future incidents?

  • I think you should go with a 1.3 megapixel camera phone. If you just got with the VGA, you'll be disappointed with the photo quality because you're the type of person who will do stuff with your pictures instead of just keeping them in your camera. Bad news - Sprint isn't exactly market leader of fancy 1.3 megapixel phones. Talk to me as you research - I have some hints for you. Welcome to 2005 - year of the camera phone :)
