I'm extra proud this year - although auto theft dropped 2.6% nationally in 2004, Stockton-Lodi had an increase that bumped us into the #2 spot.

I think something like 50% of the country's population lives on the East Coast (I can't find this stat exactly) so it's amazing that there aren't more thefts in heavily populated, heavily urban areas on the right coast.
