Bye Bye, Blogger?
WordPress recently began allowing users to sign up for free hosted blogs, so I decided to give it a try.

I haven't yet decided if I will abandon Blogger, but so far the WordPress experience has been a good one. Note that they support tagging/categorizing posts, which tops my list of gripes with Blogger...

You can easily to categorizing in Blogger in 5 minutes flat. Please see http://netcf2.blogspot.com/2005/11/blogging-categories-categories.html for details. There's even a script generator to generate code for your sidebar template.

I am similarly frustrated with Blogger...I'm not terribly code-savvy, but I want to be able to easily tag my posts. If only it was as seamless as it is in flickr...I might have to switch also, but I will try the code-link above...
ps: found you via technorati, searching with "tagging with Blogger" so clearly you must have figured it out. Would you mind clueing in the clueless? I have a pile of other journo-turned-blogger friends who'd appreciate it.
