TiVo + iPod
I keep telling myself that I don't need one of those fancy new video iPods, and that my 2G iTank is good enough. But we got ourselves TiVo for Christmas, and I recently learned that you can transfer recorded shows to the aforementioned iPod and take them with you. Which means that I could, like, watch the Daily Show on my way to work each morning!

Nothing goes together like dense fog, watching t.v., and driving a car. Might want to hold off on that idea.
