Wine in the Media

Why do newspapers have magazines? I'm flipping though the San Francisco Chronicle Magazine, but why not just publish these stories in the regular paper - I wonder if you can subscribe to the magazine only...

According to the article I'm reading, the Cab/Shiraz Wine Cube I bought at Target is packaged to appeal to women. I'd better drink up - wouldn't want to appear girly to all the manly men visiting our home.

The Chronicle just came out with their Top 100 Wines of 2005, only one Lodi native on the list makes me sad:
2002 Cosentino The Temp Lodi Tempranillo ($18)
This take on Spain's most famous red grape is packed with ripe black cherry and blackberry flavors and hints of chocolate and spice. The tannins are smooth, the acidity brisk.
Never heard of Cosentino before, I wonder if I can actually get it in Lodi (it's a Napa winery).
