Goal! Goal! Goal! Goal!

Per Martha's comment below, I did enjoy the 2nd half of Ghana beating the Czech Republic before witnessing the red-carded debacle that was Saturday's USA/Italy match. Although I'm curious if World Cup commentary will ever appear on her blog?

I did feel a tiny bit sorry for Italy's Cristian Zaccardo, who accidentally scored the game-tying goal on his own team. Years ago, I definitely headed a ball or two backwards into our team's net playing indoor soccer... oops.

  • Wow... appropriately humbled and chastised... I hang my head in shame and off I go to post something on my blog which you so embarassingly linked to on yours. Guess my life's not as interesting! If only I had a poem... or a limerick... that might start my creative juices flowing... but who do I know that would write me a poem like they promised??... hmmmmmmmmmm
