We Are Colbert's Lemmings Steven Colbert offered $5 to the first person who changed the Reality article on Wikipedia to reflect the news that Microsoft is offering to pay people to "correct" the site. I pulled the page up 10 seconds later, and it was already done:  I'm probably guilty of relying on Wikipedia as my only source of "facts" more often than I should, but it's hard to argue with its ease of use and efficiency of design. Why just today, I edited the October 13th article to add new Gopher Football coach Tim Brewster to the list of birthdays... Labels: colbert, screenshot, wikipedia
