California, RIP A week ago today, Kristi and I drove up to Mendocino to explore California's north coast - something neither of us had ever done before. We had some recommendations from friends, but there wasn't time for our normal amount of pre-trip planning. We were lucky to end up staying at (the beautiful) Griffin House Inn, recently named as one of Sunset Magazine's Top 10 Romantic Cottages , which had a copy of (the quite handy) 101 Things to Do in Mendocino. As it turns out, 101 Things is "your multimedia travel source for California, Oregon and South Carolina" Anyways, it was a great trip, as you can probably tell by the photos I uploaded last night. I'm going to miss California - no more trips planned because Kristi moves back to Minneapolis in 6 days!
