• What about when you can write your own M&Ms? Is that the same thing? Or am I simply chocolate-obsessed?...

• Are you talking about the "Become an M&M" where you design a Mr Potato Head-esque M&M to look like a person? Or the customizable M&M's that you can order?
  
  M&M's did ask their consumers what color to add several years ago, but they had to choose from a list instead of creating their own.
